Last February, I gave a TEDx talk over at my school, Xavier School. It’s been over 2 months since the video has been posted, and I’m surprised to see that it has surpassed 10k views. I did not see that coming. Hahaha!
A Simple Pixel Art Canvas Made With Processing
So for today, in our club meeting, our moderator decided it’d be fun if we made a drawing canvas in Processing. Just with a few lines of codes, I was able to program it. Check it out yourself, if you want! :D Instructions on how to use it can be found on the site linked below.
Ice Cream Sandwich Keyboard For Froyo and Gingerbread
So it seems the Ice Cream Sandwich Keyboard can be found in the Android Market now. I must say, I’m quite impressed. It’s probably the first decent stock keyboard we get from Android. It somehow reminds me of SwiftKey except not as proficient. It doesn’t predict your next word nor learn new words much like SwiftKey, but it does a pretty good job knowing what word you might be typing.
The keyboard runs well on my LG Optimus One running Gingerbread. It may not be as great as SwiftKey, but hey, at least you can get it for free!
I’m still slowly teaching it Filipino.

Scram - iOS Game
So By Implication (one of Microsoft’s Imagine Cup 2010 Winner) has came up with their first iOS game, Scram. The game features a 3D first-person running sorta kinda game… I’m not quite sure how to explain it. HAHAHA.
Anyway, the game’s selling for $0.99 now (which is actually, according to them, already 50% off). I might post a review soon (it’s way past midnight over here and I’m almost brain dead from a long day in school), but for now, I suggest you actually check it out for yourself. Anyway, they have a pretty nifty, and creative, site (a definitely must see).

Forgive me for the crude video. This video game-inspired video was done within a span of roughly 5 hours from scratch, pre-prod to post-prod. HAHA. We used it to launch the Environmental Month in school.
Welcome!
Today marks the launching of my site http://dmartinng.tk/ as well as this blog. I hope you enjoy and please, if you need to contact me, just send me an email over at dmartinng@dmartinng.tk.
The site is still under progress. I haven’t really been able to setup the portfolio nor the projects page yet. Nonetheless, this blog is up and running fine.
